Ride for the 'Ridge 2026
On May 24, the Foundations of Lakeridge Health hosted RBC Ride for the ’Ridge — a cycling event in support of local hospitals across Durham Region. Despite the rainy weather, our incredible volunteers, sponsors, and supporters joined a record 437 riders at Ajax Downs and raised more than $304,000 for local health care.
This year’s event also introduced a new 10 KM route, welcoming more than 100 riders of all ages and abilities and helping make Ride for the ’Ridge more family-friendly and accessible than ever before. Families also enjoyed the Owasco Family Fun Zone, proudly sponsored by Owasco RV and The Bob & Sue Verwey Foundation.
The event would not have been possible without the support of presenting sponsor RBC, along with key partners including PureHealth Pharmacy, Regional Municipality of Durham, Bridgehouse Asset Managers, and many generous sponsors and supporters from across Durham Region.
